Dan Gerlach (bass), Tom Gerlach (bass), Steve Gerlach (guitar) and their three sisters (Ann, Susan and ???) used to recite the Monkees' piece "Mr. Bobalino" around the house. Dan had a backwards language which filtered down to the younger boys. Their parents (Luap and Narf) were EXTREMELY supportive in that they remained stoic as a dozen kids armed with beer decended their basement stairs to watch us "practice". L.T. felt particularly scrutinized but Narf was balanced in her suspicions (and rightfully so...we all were equally suspect). In the same vein, MY mother asked if Tommy was stoned or if that was just the way he acted all the time. I think I chose the latter response although both may have applied at the time.

Pictures to come
MP3 THE WHO SUITE - Recorded at the Marshall-A-Go-Go (11/29/83) with Tom "Stumalo" Stella on drums...a better Who trio you couldn't find. At this time, there were so many fractioned bands that parties turned into musical free-for-alls which usually ended with this powerhouse number. Maybe someday I'll get "The Seeker" that preceded this medley.
